OHIO MISDEMEANOR OFFENSES

A misdemeanor offense in the State of Ohio is any crime that can result in imprisonment up to one year.

There are five levels of misdemeanor offenses, MM (minor misdemeanor) to M1. M1 misdemeanors are the most serious. Significant fines and court costs, and in some cases restitution to a victim, can be ordered by the Court.
