Roush & Stilz, P.S.C. attorney Kash Stilz fights to ensure that when his clients lose their job due to the illegal actions of their employer they do not also lose their livelihood.
Divorce/ Family Law
When facing the prospect of divorce, it is important to have solid information and solid representation. The law firm of law firm of Roush & Stilz, P.S.C. is here to provide you with just that, solid informed representation.
Is an extremely insufficient term used to describe what happens when someone gets seriously hurt as the result of another’s carelessness. And it certainly does not adequately describe the inevitable physical and emotional pain, financial burden, and strain on the family that accompanies the situation when a serious injury occurs.
If you have been injured on the job, in most cases, your only opportunity to be compensated for the wage loss and medical expenses you incur will be through the state workers’ compensation system.
At some time in your life you will come in contact with the criminal justice system. From city ordinances controlling the number of weeds you can have in your yard to the most heinous human act that constitutes a felony offense, our society has decided to criminalize a wide range of conduct.

Questions Our Clients ask Our Attorneys
Do I Really Need a Lawyer to Handle My Legal Issue?
Yes. Just like performing surgery on yourself is always a bad idea, you should never assume you can handle a legal matter without the help of competent legal counsel.
Do You Provide Free Initial Consultations?
For most case evaluations, yes, we provide free initial consultations. For instance, we offer free initial consultations for cases involving: injury; workers’ compensation; civil rights; divorce; custody; child support; adoption; and criminal defense. The only cases we do not provide free initial consultations are cases involving employment issues. We charge a one-time $50.00 consultation for an in-office meeting with R&S attorney Kash Stilz to evaluate your employment issue.
How Much Do You Cost if I Hire You?
The fee we charge depends on the type of case you have. We typically charge contingency fees for injury, civil rights, employment, and workers’ compensation cases. A contingency fee is only paid by our clients when we recover money for the damages they have suffered. If we are unable to recover any money, we do not charge an attorney’s fee. We cannot charge contingency fees in criminal defense or family law cases. We do work with our clients to make the payment process as easy as possible by offering a variety of fee options including hourly fees with agreed-upon retainers, and flat fees. A “retainer” is an amount of money paid upfront by the client that we keep in a special bank account and work off as the case progresses.
How do I Communicate With You once I Have Hired You?
Lack of communication is one of the leading complaints of lawyers by their clients in the legal industry. We believe communication is the cornerstone to a positive legal experience for our clients. If you contact us regarding your case with a question, we will get back to you within 24 hours by either return phone call or email.
How Long Will it Take to Finish my Case?
While we work diligently to progress your case through the legal system, every case is different. The amount of time it can take to complete a legal matter is completely dependent on the complexity of the case, the conduct of the other side in the case, and the court in which the case is pending.
How do I Decide What Lawyer to Hire?
The attorney-client relationship is built on trust, honesty, and communication. Any attorney-client relationship that lacks one of these attributes is going to result in a negative experience. Do your research on the attorneys you are considering to hire. Set up face to face appointments with them. Ask them about their experience with similar cases. Your case should never be about the attorney you hire, yet the attorney you hire can be the difference between a successful or unsuccessful outcome.
